Bodiam is designed for toddlers aged two years and upwards. The system boasts many play activities in a limited space – Bodiam requires an area of approx. 7.5 x 7.3 metres. The non-slip steps provide safe access to the tower, which offers views of the surroundings through the coloured panes in both the window and the torches. Bodiam also features a hanging prison and a sensory swing, where children love to gather or hide. The sensory swing is also known as a bird’s nest swing. Both the hanging prison and the sensory swing are suspended above the ground. This stimulates children’s motor development and balance while firing up their imagination. By exercising a certain amount of dexterity, the prison key can be moved between several positions, and inspire role-play and social interaction between the children. In the sensory swing, children can recover after a spell behind bars. Children develop their sense of balance on unsteady surfaces.
